Packer & Co has an open mandate to allocate funds to a broad spectrum of asset classes. The investments in the Investigator Trust's portfolio are continually under review and may well change dramatically in response to any perception by Packer & Co that value is returning to any particular sector of the investment market.

About Packer & Co

Packer & Co commenced investing funds on behalf of clients in 1993. Since 1996 we have managed a single investment vehicle, the Packer & Co Investigator Trust, a unit trust which is able to invest in a broad spectrum of asset classes throughout the world.

The Packer & Co management team tends to be counter-cyclical, buying assets when they are out of favour and taking advantage by selling when investors become over-exuberant. We prefer to keep things simple and avoid options, futures and complex financial products.

We believe in aligning ourselves with our clients and our investment managers have the majority of their personal wealth invested in the Investigator Trust.

How we invest your money

Packer & Co has discretion to invest in a wide range of investments in accordance with the Investigator Trust's Constitution. Authorised investments can include both Australian and International:

• shares;

• derivatives;

• bonds and treasury bills;

• cash and short term money market securities; and

• unit trusts.
