About the Fund

The Fund provides exposure to an actively managed and diversified portfolio of Australian small cap equities through securities listed, or expected to be listed, on the Australian Securities Exchange. The Fund may also provide exposure to equity issued by Australian entities on offshore exchanges, derivatives (including options, futures, warrants and forwards) and cash.

Some key features of the Fund include:

  • Provides exposure to a diversified portfolio of Australian small companies.
  • Provides exposure to an actively managed strategy using a quantitative screening process to select stocks and build a diversified portfolio of Australian small cap equities. 

Mandate

How we invest your money

The Investment Manager aims to build a portfolio providing exposure to some of the fastest growing companies on the Australian share market. The process seeks to identify companies which:

  1. rank highly on the Investment Manager's quantitative screens, and
  2. may exceed market expectations over the long term.

The Fund gains exposure to these assets either directly or through funds managed by a member of the Macquarie Group. The Fund may be exposed to derivatives. Derivatives may be used for hedging and active investment purposes.
