With climate change driving the move to renewable energy and electric vehicles (EVs), the demand for batteries is forecast to increase 10x by 2030. Li-S Energy has developed a new lithium-sulphur (Li-S) battery using boron nitride nano-tubes (BNNT) to increase energy density well beyond that of lithium-ion batteries, while extending Li-S battery cycle life.
