Lithium is a key ingredient for batteries and batteries are charging the electrification of the transport industry. Reedy Lagoon plans to produce lithium for direct sale to battery manufacturers by finding and processing lithium-bearing brine (salty ground water). This strategy will plug Reedy Lagoon into the lowest cost producers and the highest value-add stages of lithium-ion battery manufacture.
