The Way Linggo Project is held under a 100km2, 4th generation Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government and is located on the mineral rich Trans-Sumatran Fault, part of the Pacific Rim of Fire. The Project has established infrastructure with a 140Ktpa Merrill Crowe gold circuit and has a track record of high grade, low cost gold production. The Company is currently producing high grade low cost gold from open cut activities at the Way Linggo Mine, while it explores the possibility of establishing open cut activities and re-engineering the underground operations at the Talang Santo Mine. In addition, significant exploration upside exists on the wider Project area with numerous exciting priority targets identified which will be the subject of further work over the next 12 months. The Group conducts its operations in a manner which minimises its environmental footprint, and as such, there has been very little environmental impact on the Project area to date. In addition, the Group approaches its operations in a socially responsible manner and has built a long term, genuinely collaborative relationship with the local communities surrounding the Way Linggo Project. The PTNM Community Development team actively engages the local communities and provides significant support to local cultural, environmental, health and education initiatives and programs, many of which are designed to increase community self-reliance.
