About

Singapore-based Asian American Medical Group (“AAMG”) was established in 1994 and has been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since September 2009. The Group’s operations include the Asian American Liver Centre Pte Ltd (“AALC”) and the Asian American Radiation Oncology Pte Ltd (“AARO”). Led by hepatobiliary specialist and liver transplant surgeon Dr Tan Kai Chah, AAMG was first established as a liver centre, formerly known as Asian Centre for Liver Diseases and Transplantation (ACLDT). This followed the Group’s re-branding exercise and strategic collaboration in 2012 with US-based global health enterprise UPMC. UPMC is a world-renowned health care provider located in Pittsburgh, PA, USA and is ranked nationally in 15 specialities including Transplant and Oncology. In early 2014, AALC’s doctors have commenced surgical procedures at iHEAL Medical Centre in Malaysia’s capital city Kuala Lumpur. The Group has also made inroads into Myanmar through a partnership with Grand Hantha Hospital to offers patient consultations, advanced treatments and specialized procedures such as endoscopy and liver transplantation. The Asian American Radiation Oncology is currently providing advisory and management services in Myanmar and Russia and presently pursing other opportunities in the region. AAMG is working with UPMC, as a leader in cancer care, to explore opportunities to bring advance cancer treatment to Southeast Asia. AAMG is also pursuing opportunities in Russia, working together with RusSing Med Holdings Pte Ltd (“RusSing”), a private holding company primarily focusing on business opportunities between Singapore and Russia. RusSing is also the Group’s third largest shareholder.
